This seemed like a good photo to go with this post. I wanted to do a bit of explanation about why I wasn’t posting for so long.
Short version: I was sick.
It was cancer. There were treatments for several years, including Keytruda as the last treatment. It didn’t work. The cancer came back. There were a bunch of nasty side effects. I don’t recommend Keytruda if there is any other option.
But finally it came down to surgery. That happened in November. They took out a couple organs. They say they got all the cancer. They also say it will take a year to recover from the surgery and that the recovery will be “glacial.” That seems to be the case. I’m just now feeling well enough the think about doing photos again. I’ve had one shoot that went pretty well and have another planned.
I hope to start posting here again regularly as my recovery continues. So, I hope you’ll keep coming back.
