A Friend Indoors

October 1st, 2007

My friend posed in her house as well as in the river behind her house. She’s actually more “at home” in the indoor setting.

I’m on the road right now and chances to connect to the internet are few, so I don’t know how much posting I’ll be doing over the next few days. I’ll put up something new when I get the chance.

On Saturday we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. I was impressed by the exhibit of paper negative photos from the 1850s. Some very fine photography was done then with processes and equipment that were far beyond difficult to manage. Well worth your time to see if you are in the New York area.

We had a few minor adventures in NYC, including walking across Central Park after dark and getting lost trying to get to a coffee shop on the west side of the park. We eventually made it just in time for them to close without serving us. So we ended up in a Starbucks…yuck! But still a good time with some old friends.

Tomorrow we’ll be traveling from Long Island to Connecticut via ferry. That should be more pleasant than driving through NYC to get there…

More when the opportunity presents itself.
