Washed Up

That’s Blue Sheba and Brooke Lynne on the rocks beside a mountain stream just outside Silvergate.
Brooke and I had a good day of travel and shooting today. Rocky Mountain National Park was a bit of a disappointment. Much too busy for any figure work to be possible in any of the more interesting places. We did find some good spots to do a few shots and had even better luck after we left the park and found some great spots just along the road in the national forest.
We had planned to camp tonight, but ended up in a motel. We tried a campground at Chief Hosa or something like that, near Denver. It was so bad that after finding out that the shower was a timed, pay thing and that the electric wouldn’t work for the hook-up to the camper and that the office had closed early and there was no one to tell about the problems, well, we just left and went down the road and found a motel. Definite thumbs down on that place.
But we have another location to shoot at dawn tomorrow and then it’s on to Aspen for the weekend.
And here she is today freezing herself in a mountain stream along the road south of Rocky Mountain National Park today:
